This 2’ x 3’2 Hamadan was woven in Iran ca 1940’s. It has a wool pile on a cotton foundation with a knot count of 70kpsi. It has a navy field with a central floral medallion and corner bouquets in pink, ivory, gold, peach, federal and colonial blue, and brown. Both ends have been previously overcast and one end has lost some knots, but the overall rug is symmetrical and pleasant to look at. This would do well at a bedside, in a foyer, or scattered about your home.
